Perfect Cook
There are two chances to burn food while cooking: The first is a 30% chance to burn food which can be reduced via Mastery. The Pig and Mole synergy adds 25% base burn chance to this primary burn chance for a maximum total of 55% primary burn chance and is reduced via Mastery. The second is a 1% chance that can only be removed by the Cooking Skillcape or Cooking Gloves.
Food that is actively cooked has a chance to be "perfectly cooked" giving the item 10% increased healing, and 50% increased sale value. this chance starts at 0%, and is increased by 5% every 10 mastery levels, 50% at 99 mastery, 2% by the Cooking Skillcape and 3% from upgrading the appropriate cooking utility to a max of 100%.

If food is burnt during cooking, the player will only receive 1XP. The Crown of Rhaelyx can still save materials from being consumed if food is burned, but the amount of burnt food cannot be doubled by Cooking, Aorpheat's Signet Ring, or Generous Cook Potions.
Passive Cooking
While one utility is actively cooking food, the other 2 can also passively cook to produce food. this will not grant any mastery or skill xp, is much slower than the active utility, and has no chance of preserving resources, doubling items or perfect cooking, however has no negative effects on the active utility.

Burnt food is inedible and can be sold from the bank for 1.
