Cheating in Melvor is fully allowed; it is a single-player game with no impact on any other players.
You will not be banned and Steam Achievements will still be obtained. Both when using the Dev Console and Mods.

It is up to the individual how they want to play and which "cheats" to use. Be aware that using "cheats" may impact your game experience in a negative way.

Cheating can be done in several ways.

  • The Dev Console, this allows you almost full access to everything about the game. You can spawn in Items, change Skill Levels and much more.
  • Mods, there are a large amount of Mods that are tagged as Cheats. There are also Mods that are not tagged as Cheats but that the majority of players still do consider as Cheats.
Not all Mods are Cheats however, some merely add Quality of Life (QoL) such as detailed information in several ways.
