The Completion Log is a feature in-game that displays progress towards completing the game. It is accessible from the sidebar menu.
Many users on Discord add their completion percent at the end of their username.
Categories
There are five categories that contribute towards completion:
- Skills: Each skill in the expansion must reach its max level for the expansion (virtual levels are cosmetic only).
- Mastery: Each skill action must reach level 99 mastery.
- Items: Each item must be found at least once.
- Monsters: Each monster must be defeated at least once.
- Monsters do not need to be defeated in all locations it appears. For instance if an enemy appears in both a stronghold and a combat area, it doesn't need to be defeated in both locations as long as all items it drops are acquired.
- Pets: Each pet needs to be acquired.
Capes of Completion
Each expansion has a Cape of Completion. These can only be purchased or equipped when that expansion has reached 100% completion.
- Base game: Cape of Completion
- Throne of the Herald: Superior Cape of Completion
- Requires 100% completion in both the base game and TotH
- Atlas of Discovery: Cape of Completion (Atlas of Discovery)
- Error creating thumbnail: File missingInto the Abyss: ???
Updates
If an update adds new content required for completion of an expansion, the relevant Completion Cape(s) will be unequipped and become unequippable until the new content is completed. For example v1.3 added Strongholds to the base game and split drops for the Merman Pendant into two halves. Players with 100% completion before that update needed to acquire the new items and pets before they could use their Capes of Completion again. Usually, as happened with v1.3, a free death is provided on the first load of the update. This means that players will not lose items (or hardcore characters) if their cape being unequipped causes death.
Excluded
- Township tasks
- Items from special events
- The completion capes themselves
