This page is up to date (v1.3.1).
Normal Combat Triangle (Standard Mode)

The Combat Triangle is a modifier applied to your Character when fighting Monsters based on their Attack Type compared to yours. This modifier includes a Damage Modifier and a Damage Reduction Modifier. This is only applied to you, and not the Monster.

The Combat Triangle can be found in-game by clicking the 'Area Info' on any area then clicking 'View Combat Triangle'. This will show you the active combat triangle in that area and what effects it has on each combat style.

When the player uses the combat style that is strong or weak against the monster's combat style, they receive a bonus or reduction to their maximum hit and damage reduction. Using the same style as the enemy will result in no change in damage or damage reduction.

The bonuses are the same across all game modes, but when playing a character in a mode other than Standard Mode the penalties for using the weak combat style are increased.
