Sandstorm Ring is an armor piece that has no stats, but instead gives you a special attack if using melee. If paired with a weapon which also has a special attack, both specials will have a chance to occur each turn (although only one special attack may trigger on each turn).
Overall, the Sandstorm Ring is best used in mid-game, when the Melee attack type is in use but Diamond Luck Potions are not yet available. In the late-game this ring is superseded by Diamond Luck potions, as the ring's special attack time is too long and therefore can no longer provide sufficient DPS.
