Why Idle This?

Lair of the Spider Queen is mainly cleared for the Royal Toxins Spear as it provides very generous damage boosts, and also provides an additional damage boost for when the enemy is poisoned.
The only other drop you can get from the dungeon is Spider Queen Eggs used for making the Spider Summoning Tablets.
The pet from the dungeon, Webbie also reduces your attack speed by 0.1s, which is incredibly useful in many ways.

Dungeon Mechanics

Like most dungeons,

has many weaker enemies before sending the strongest enemy at you, which in this case is Spider Queen. Normally, you would pick a specific combat style to fight the enemies to get the full advantage of the combat triangle, but in this dungeon, you can't. The Spider Queen has a unique mechanic where they will have a random combat triangle each time. Similarly, the 19 weaker enemies before it are randomised in a way which again, makes the combat styles random. This part isn't very important since the heavy hitter in the dungeon is the last enemy. Since the random combat style gimmick is the only reason this dungeon is difficult to many, it is actually rather simple to manually clear.

Idle Gear

This setup was tweaked for the absolute minimum to idle Spider Queen at reasonable levels & gear and assumes all recommended levels and buffs. This starts off with only 2 kills per hour, there's several way to increase the KPH.
If Atlas of Discovery Expansion is owned, you can replace Fervor Scroll for Power Crystals and/or replace Glacia God Gloves for Eradicating Gloves (m) for quite substantially increased kph.

This particular build only works in standard mode. This exact setup is not completely safe in hardcore or adventure mode due to the harder Combat Triangle

For complete safety in hardcore mode, apply the following changes:

- Replace Glacia God Gloves with (U) Elderwood Vambraces.

Always make sure to double-check your setup in the Combat Simulator.
