Gem Gloves are widely considered to be extremely useful while
, as they are the fastest method of obtaining desirable gems such as Diamonds, and are a reasonable choice for early game money making. Purchasing 2,000 charges costs 500,000 (or 250 per charge) and will provide gems that are worth on average 762,500, before doubling chances, for a profit of 262,500 if all gems are sold. Be aware however that Emeralds and Diamonds may be kept rather than sold due to their uses in other skills. The profitability increases by 50,000 if the player has read the Merchant's Permit, as this reduces the cost of these gloves by 10%.
Gem Drop Rates
Gem Gloves use the same drop table for gems as Mining normally, just with a 100% chance of receiving a gem per action:
Gem | DLC | Gem Chance | Gem Price | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Topaz | 50.0% | 225 | ||
Sapphire | 17.5% | 335 | ||
Ruby | 17.5% | 555 | ||
Emerald | 10.0% | 555 | ||
Diamond | 5.0% | 1,150 |
Stats
