Currency

There are 5 types of currency in Melvor Idle. For all of these currencies, there is no (realistic) limit to the amount the player can have.

Gold Pieces (GP) and Slayer Coins (SC) are used to purchase items, upgrades, and equipment from the Shop. These can be obtained and used within the Melvor Realm.

Abyssal Pieces (AP) and Abyssal Slayer Coins (ASC) are obtained exclusively within the

Into the Abyss Expansion. Much like GP and SC, they are used to purchase items, upgrades, and equipment from the Shop.

Raid Coins (RC) are used to purchase upgrades and skip waves for the Golbin Raid minigame.

Settings

Number formatting can be changed in the Settings menu under interface settings. Starting from 100,000, numbers will become formatted. There are two formatting options:

• 1,000K which formats:
  • 123,456 as 123k
  • 1,234,567 as 1,234K
  • 12,345,678 as 12M and so on
• 1M which formats:
  • 123,456 as 123k
  • 1,234,567 as 1M
  • 12,345,678 as 12M and so on
    • When using this option, currency values are formatted with 2 decimal places. Ex: 123.45k

Regardless of the formatting setting, the highest formatting value is ">999T" which happens at, and above, 1,000,000,000,000,000.
