Crafting allows the creation of ranged armour, rings and necklaces from leather, dragonhide, gems and metal bars. Crafting an item normally takes 3 seconds. However, this time can be reduced by 20% to 2.4 seconds by purchasing the [[Perpetual Haste]] god upgrade. Raising crafting to level 99 will unlock the [[Crafting Skillcape]] for purchase from the [[Shop]]. Equipping the skillcape halves the time it takes to craft an item.
