Combat Simulator is a tool that shows many metrics for the combat with the loadout that you specify.

Among other things, it can help you check

• if you can idle a dungeon.

• which mob gives more XP/GP/drops/etc with your loadout.

• which weapon and attack style maximize your profits.

The Combat Simulator can also give necessary data to calculate an important metric - the Adjusted Clear Time - the time required to gather all resources necessary for the fight plus the fighting time. The production of food and ammunition might take more time than the encounter itself, which can lead to interesting outcomes such as the melee build that clears a dugeon twice as slow can still have better Adjusted Clear Time than a magic build that spends a lot of food. FAQ

Question: The result says "No valid simulation data: simulated X/1000 trials". How do I fix it?

Answer: It means that due to the set limit, the program was only able to simulate X trials out of 1000 in this time limit. In order to increase the time limit, click on the gear icon on the upper right side and add another zero to the line called "Max ticks".

Question: I loaded the simulator like in the instructions, but there's no Tools section and no Combat Simulator button anywhere else. Am I doing something wrong?

Answer: It's likely because the Combat Simulator wasn't updated to the recent game version. You can track the updates on the releases page - there might be some pre-release builds available.
