Strongholds Introduction

Strongholds were Introduced in the free 1.3 Melvor Update ahead of the launch of the Into the Abyss expansion.

Like Dungeons, Strongholds have a fixed monster order but have their own mechanics such as a reversed File:Combat Triangle.png Combat Triangle and File:Pure Damage.png Pure Damage. All Monsters deal a new type of damage called Pure Damage. This means your Damage Reduction gear has no effect. This is a pure DPS combat challenge.

Strongholds Mechanics

Most dungeons are fixed battles with the same order and type of monsters every time they are undertaken.

Strongholds Limitations

Whilst in a stronghold the player cannot change Food types, change items, or change Equipment sets. After finishing a dungeon, the dungeon must be left in order to change food, items or sets again. The equipment swap restrictions can be removed by purchasing the Stronghold Equipment Swapping upgrade from the Shop for 30,000,000GP.
