General Harvesting Training Concepts
Training the Harvesting skills is about balancing the following:
- The higher the Intensity, the more AXP/hr. Failing to harvest an item only awards a percentage of AXP/hr. In order to get a 100% chance of a successful harvest, an Intensity of 80% is required.
- The higher the Intensity, the better the rewards.
- If a vein's Mastery Level is under 90, the Intensity of an inactive vein will gradually lower.
Brute Force Method
The goal of this method is to get from Abyssal Levels 1-60 without using other skills, and while keeping Abyssal Veins producing at 100%. It is simple to use and can be done when first entering the Abyssal section of the game in certain game modes (Standard and Hardcore). This method is not advisable for Adventure or Ancient Relics game modes because it relies on Abyssal Levels 1-60 being immediately available.
- If there are veins at 90+ Mastery Level, keep harvesting them until they are 100% Intensity
- Start with the topmost vein below 90 Mastery Level. Harvest until it is 100% Intensity.
- Harvest the second topmost vein below 90 Mastery Level. Keep harvesting until a vein above falls below 80% Intensity.
- Repeat 1-3 until all available veins are at 90+ Mastery Level and 100% Intensity.
- Harvest the bottommost vein available until another lower vein is available. Once it is available, repeat steps 1-4.
Adaptations
- For a very hands-free experience, keep harvesting until each vein is 90+ Mastery Level and 100% intensity.
- Use Mastery XP above 95% to give head start on the next available vein.
- Bring as many of the items in the Harvesting/Boosts section as possible.
Comprehensive Method
This method allows adventurers to train Harvesting while training other related skills.
- Harvester's Potions
- Golem Tablets
- Abyssal Bear and/or Abyssal Crow Tablets
