Ash is primarily obtained from Firemaking at a chance of 20% for each log burned. The amount of Ash received is determined by the base burn time of the log in seconds. For example Normal Logs take 2 seconds to burn and thus give 2 Ash.
The quantity obtained may be doubled by any global or Firemaking specific 'Chance to Double' bonuses, while the chance of obtaining ash can be increased with the following bonuses:
