Following completion of Into the Mist, you now have access to Dark Waters, the penultimate slayer area. These 3 mobs drop fragments for the T90 weapons, the most powerful weapons in the game. These are extremely long grinds, and require quite a bit of preparation. Each weapon requires 100 fragments, and the fragments have a 2% drop rate. That's 5,000 kills on average.

=Preparing for [[Impending Darkness]]

[[Impending Darkness]] is the endgame combat event and requires a maxed character to enter. It is the hardest content in the game currently. It consists of 5 back to back phases, separated by a fight with [[Bane]]. The final phase is a fight with [[Bane, Instrument of Fear]]. It cannot be idled.

Before each fight with Bane, you first fight through the 4 highest level slayer areas. To complete the Unhallowed Wastelands areas, the following items are mandatory for mitigating the area effect:
* Master Slayer Gear, full sets plus extras for use in the passive slot
* Hunters Ring
* Pillar of Combat

You will need BiS for all slots. Additionally, the use of [[Dragon Tablets]] is highly recommended on Bane, as the Burn effect will shred his HP even when he goes untargetable. Pair them with [[Yak Tablets]].

You will need to have at least 3 gear sets unlocked to help with gear switching between the slayer enemies. Additionally, dungeon gear swapping is highly recommended, if not required. You should already have Auto Eat 3.
