In order to begin finding Mysterious Stones, a player must first have acquired both the {{ItemIcon|Jewel of Rhaelyx|ext=png}} and the {{ItemIcon|Circlet of Rhaelyx|ext=png}} and combined them into the {{ItemIcon|Crown of Rhaelyx|ext=png}}. Once the Crown of Rhaelyx is either equipped or in the player's bank, any non-combat skilling action has a 0.025% (1-in-4,000) chance to also produce a Mysterious Stone.
