This section gives a walkthrough on how to defeat the early dungeons without too reliance on skill and/or luck. In your playthrough, you should use the Ancient Relics and skills that you unlock, it is possible that your route will deviate quickly from this path, however, this guide does not rely on any particular skills or relics being obtained and so should work for all playthroughs, but will not be the optimum.

Level all combat stats to maximum that you can after every dungeon. Use Slayer Tasks for all of your combat training. It is free to change easy tasks , and you will then receive SC from all of the monsters you train with which will allow you to purchase more re-supplies.
For the walkthrough, it is assumed that you have levelled all of the combat stats to the maximum after every dungeon. And that all combat training is done using Slayer Tasks to give SC. You will need a supply of GP, and it is assumed that you are either mining ore to obtain jewels, or thieving and selling items. When equipped, the Mining Lesser Relic will give a guaranteed jewel for every ore which is a good way to make early GP.

Level every skill to 20 as soon as it becomes available, even if the skill itself is not that useful, as this will give a guaranteed Ancient Relic. Many relics give benefits outside of the skill itself. Do not overlook the benefits of each small improvements - you are forced to face the dungeons woefully under-levelled.

Ancient Relics often give benefits outside of the skill itself, so so not overlook the benefits these and the Lesser Relics. Also, leveling township and farming as you go along is recommended as these passive skills will pay dividends in time.

Start Mining Rune Essence until you reach level 10. Equip the Mining Lesser Relic if it becomes available. In Runecrafting make roughly equal numbers of Air Rune, Mind Rune, Earth Rune, and when available craft enough runes to craft the magic gear in this table:

Before tackling this dungeon, level up your magic, prayer and summon to 10. You can use low-level slayer tasks to level up all of your combat skills safely.
Start Cartography to unlock Shrimp, but save this for the dungeon. Survey and discover Farmer's Market in 13 to obtain Potatoes which will be your main combat training food supply. Next, survey and discover The Restless Sanctum to get Bones which can be buried for PP.

Level up all of your combat skills to level 10 on Plant and Cow using low-level slayer tasks. When you obtain craft Bronze Dagger to allow more marks to be discovered.

For the dungeon battle, equip Earth Strike and equip Golbin Thief and Thick Skin. Time your Shrimp eats carefully when battling Mumma Chicken so that you get the most hits in.

At level 10, you are very limited in what you can craft and equip. Equip the Earth Strike. Use Golbin Thief and Prayers to help reduce the battle time and increase your chances of success. Using Shrimp should be sufficient to beat the Mumma Chicken.
You should now unlock Level 15, and will be given a random selection of skill boosts.

Level up all of your combat skills to level 15. If you have any skills that are 20 (or higher) then level these up to give you more Ancient Relics.
Obtain the Silver Ruby Necklace from Mummy or Crafting, if available. If needed, mine more Rune Essence and then craft the slightly stronger magic equipment as shown in the table below. If Runecrafting was not upgraded by the first dungeon then consider a melee build instead:

Before tackling the dungeon level your skills to at least 20 if they are upgrade as this will maximize the number of Ancient Relics. You can obtain Manta Ray from Cartography (see above for coords), and the Eyeball from an easy township task. Use low-level slayer tasks to train your combat skills. You can get Bones from The Restless Sanctum at 13 which is very close to your starting position.
In Cartography, survey and discover Old Village to unlock Archaeology. Navigate a path that follows lowest the lowest cost tiles (and avoids any other POIs) until you reach the The Friendly Fisherman at 6 which gets Manta Ray. Next survey and discover Shrouded Horizon at 4 to give 50000. Purchase Mirror Shield from the Shop to complete the township task that gives you Eyeball. Obtain the and then craft as many Occultist as you can.

Using your remaining SC, purchase as many basic re-supplied as you can afford to give you Lobster. You should now have more than enough food to complete the dungeon.

At level 15, you are limited in what you can craft and equip. If you have plenty of Shrimp or Lobster then this should be sufficient. Equip the Fire Strike, Soul Split I and Blinding I spells. Use Occultist and Thick Skin to increase your chances of success.
For the dungeon battle, equip Manta Ray or Lobster, Fire Strike, Soul Split I and Blinding I spells. Use Occultist and Thick Skin to increase your chances of success.

Spider Forest: Level 20
Level up all of the combat skills to unlock all of the Ancient Relics. Do the same for any new skills that you have obtained. For this dungeon, it is recommended to switch to a melee build unless your Runecrafting has been upgraded. To get the mithril gear, grind Mithril Knight until you have a full set of gear. Submit this to the township task to give you the upgraded gear, and then continue grinding to complete the set, as shown below:

At level 35, you are not recommended to take on the Bandit Leader as this will be a very tough challenge due to the special moves. There is an easy task that will grant you (G) Mithril Platebody, and the remainder of the armour can be obtained from the Mithril Knight. It will take a bit of time to acquire all of the armour which should give a chance for all of your stats to increase. It is important that you level everything up to 20 (or better) so that you obtain the most number of Ancient Relics possible. It you know how, use the Easter Eggs to obtain Amulet of Calculated Promotion.
Using the Mining Lesser Relic mine Iron Ore (or your strongest ore available) to obtain jewels which you can sell. When you have 1000000 available, then purchase Auto Eat - Tier I to make combat slightly easier. In Crafting make Iron Gloves (or Bronze Gloves if not upgraded). It is especially important that you spend the time to train your prayer and hitpoints.

For the dungeon, you will likely need a lot of Lobster (e.g. 500) to overcome this dungeon safely. You can obtain 50000 (which is enough for 10 re-supplies) from Shrouded Horizon in 4 which can be found by navigating a straight path from your starting position, but be advised that you will need around 500000 to reach this hex. If you have the Mining Lesser Relic then mining for jewels is a good way to get sufficient GP for your travels.
Use Burst of Strength and Clarity of Thought to increase your odds. Equip Occultist summon. During the battle with Spider King you will need to time your eats carefully to avoid being killed and it may take more than one attempt.

Use Occultist and Agility Lesser Relic (reduces attack interval) to increase your chances of success. Use Burst of Strength and Clarity of Thought to increase your stats. During the battle with Bandit Leader you will need to time your eats carefully to avoid being killed and it may take more than one attempt. Pay close attention when the special (yellow attack) as these will decrease their attack interval considerably. You may need to hold down the eat button to avoid getting killed unexpectedly as you will encounter a lot of damage.
Congratulations, you are well on the path of the Ancient Relics. You can check out all of the dungeon guides for more hints and tips, but the walkthrough is complete. Good Luck!
