** {{Skill|Smithing}} is used to create {{ItemIcon|Corundum Helmet|Corundum}}, {{ItemIcon|Augite Helmet|Augite}}, {{ItemIcon|Meteorite Helmet|Meteorite}}, and {{ItemIcon|Divine Helmet|Divinite}} armor and weapons. All armor except {{ItemIcon|Meteorite Helmet|Meteorite}} must be upgraded with {{ItemIcon|Iridium Bar|Iridium}} and {{ItemIcon|Palladium Bar|Palladium}} Bars to achieve their maximum values.

====Melee====
====Melee====
Melee training should typically be done on {{MonsterIcon|Alraune}} or in the {{ZoneIcon|Ancient Sanctuary}}, depending on the players long term goals.

====Ranged====
====Ranged====
The first few slayer areas have lots of potential {{Skill|Magic}} monsters to be killed for {{Skill|Ranged}} experience. The {{MonsterIcon|Spectral Ice Wolf}} is preferable as obtaining all of the {{ItemIcon|Spectral Ice Sword Shard|Spectral Ice Sword Shards}} to create the {{ItemIcon|FrostSpark 1H Sword}} requires an average of 10k {{MonsterIcon|Spectral Ice Wolf|Wolves}} with no item doubling.

====Magic====
The first few slayer areas have lots of potential {{Skill|Melee}} monsters to be killed for {{Skill|Magic}} experience. Unfortunately none hold items that are either rare or simply take a long time to obtain - so the choice comes down to whatever is most convenient or is simply the best XP rate.
