Manual Eating is a way of healing in combat without relying on Auto Eat - Tier I.
Manual Eating is a method of healing during Combat without relying on Auto Eat.
This will allow you to survive much higher hits from Monsters without dying (you will still be capped on how high the hits you can take are before dying based on the Monsters maximum hit and your maximum health).

Eating this way is a much more intensive way of playing the game and is generally not recommended for longer grinds.
Utilizing manual eating enables players to survive much higher hits from Monsters without dying. While Auto Eat only guarantees the player's safety, manual eating can allow players to survive attacks below their maximum Hitpoints. Do note that dying is still possible where monsters have maximum hits equal to or greater than the player's maximum HP.
Ancient Relics will rely on this way of Eating to clear through most dungeons for the first time.

Manually Eating WILL reset your Attack Gauge, having to start your next attack over again. It will also cancel any Special Attacks you might be performing.
* Manual eating is a much more intensive way of playing the game and is generally not recommended for longer grinds.
* Manually eating interrupts the player's current attack, causing the attack gauge to be reset and cancelling any Special Attacks the player may have been performing.
* Players of the Ancient Relics Game Mode will rely upon this method of eating in order to successfully complete most Dungeons for the first time.

There are 2 ways to Manual Eat:
Methods of Manual Eating
Reactive Eating
This method involves eating at the most efficient time in relation to both the player's and opponent's attack cycles. This method is only viable when the player's Attack Interval is lower than that of the opponent.

#Reactive Eating
To perform this method:
#Spam Eating
# Wait for the opponent to perform an attack.
# Wait for your character to perform an attack (only if this attack occurs before the opponent attacks once more).
# Eat as soon as possible after your character's next attack is performed.
# Repeat this process from the first step, as many times as needed.

Spam Eating
The spam eating method involves eating as much as possible in the shortest period of time to rapidly restore a large amount of hitpoints. Eating in this way will interrupt the player's attacks and generally only works when the player has a much lower Attack Interval than the that of the opponent.

Spam eating can be achieved by either:
This is done by Eating at the most efficient time in both your & the opponents attack cycle. This will only work if your Attack Interval is lower than the opponents.
* Repeatedly clicking (on PC) or tapping (on mobile) the eat button rapidly, or;
The most efficient way to do it is:
* Holding the Spacebar or Enter keys on a PC. This can be set up in the following way:
# Wait for the opponent to hit you.
*# Double click the word "Food" on the combat page (no visual indicator will appear once this is done).
# Wait for you to hit the opponent (only if this happens before the opponent hits you again).
*# Press the Tab key once.
# Eat after your attack gauge fills up and you hit (or miss).
*# Hold down either the Spacebar or Enter keys to repeatedly eat. This consumes food much faster than repeated clicking.
# Start process from step 1 again.

There's also 2 ways to Spam Eat. Eating this way will interupt your attacks and will generally not work unless your Attack Interval is much lower than the opponents.
#Clicking (on PC) or tapping (on Mobile) the Eat button rapidly over and over again.
#Holding Spacebar or Enter on a PC, this is set up in the following way:
## Double click the word "Food" on the combat screen (no visual indicators will appear at this step)
## Press Tab once
## Hold down either Spacebar or Enter to repeatedly Eat. This Eats much faster than can be achieved in other ways
