At above around {{Skill|Hitpoints|90 HP}}, you will need approximately 45 DR or more to achieve this. Refer to the [[Into_the_Mist/Guide#Ahrenia|above Ahrenia]] gear table for recommendations. Similar to Phase 2, you will ensure {{Icon|Diamond Luck Potion|Diamond Luck Potions}} are active, use any [[Magic#Standard_Magic|Surge spell]] and the curse {{Icon|type=curse|Decay}}, turn on {{PrayerIcon|Augury}} and {{PrayerIcon|Mystic Might}} for extra accuracy — {{PrayerIcon|Protect from Magic}} is not used as you want to be hit to proc [[Decay]], and start the fight. As long as you do not die to one single hit, you can hold eat and survive. Since {{MonsterIcon|Ahrenia}} heals when she uses the special {{SpecialAttack|Into the Mist (attack)|Into the Mist}} attack, this will take some time and [[Glossary#RNG|RNG]] to complete.
