Mastery

in each Abyssal Constellation before moving on, as when combined with skill level requirements this will unlock 4 Modifiers for each Constellation, giving you some amazing bonuses for other skills. Checking the Abyssal Constellations will be helpful to determine if it is worth your time or not. Secret Stardust Potions can be used to increase the rate of leveling, but it is only suggested to be used if high levels of preservation and doubling can be obtained to maximize the amount of potions created per Stardust used.
