When using most interval reduction buffs, each Fletching action should take around 0.6 second instead of the base 2 seconds, drastically improving XP rates. With an Agility setup that maximizes resource preservation and item doubling chance, it's possible to achieve 80% resource preservation and 100% item doubling chance. You may need to use Abyssal Hourglass (Inverted) and/or Crown of Rhaelyx to achieve maximum resource preservation. If you don't care about resource preservation, you can wear the full Skillers outfit to increase Mastery gain (95% mastery pool decreases interval time).
Making Abyssal Bows is a decent method of training, but since the logs it requires can't be harvested from Farming, you'll need to train Woodcutting to obtain them. Since the quantity required for each craft significantly increases at higher level, increasing resource preservation chance is beneficial. Making Abyssal Javelins is another good option, but requires training Smithing.
Skill Tree
Fletching uses a Skill Tree that provides powerful bonuses purchased with skill points earned on leveling up. Consider selecting branch A first, as training Fletching is relatively slow. Next, you can either train branch B or C. Branch B increases mastery gain, which will make it faster to get to the 95% Mastery pool checkpoint for -0.2 Fletching interval. Branch C decreases the material cost per craft, which will save some logs. Finally, branch D increases the quantity of arrows and bolts produced, which isn't as helpful since most Abyssal Ranged combat is done with throwing knives.
