You'll get around 8 clears per hour with the provided setup.
Switching to {{ItemIcon|Water Pulse Staff}} and putting {{ItemIcon|Shield of Magic Power}} in the passive slot will increase this to around 16 clears per hour.
This is aimed at a clearing this Dungeon 100 times to unlock {{Icon|Despair|type=curse}}.
If you don't have {{ItemIcon|Ocean Song}} or {{ItemIcon|Water Pulse Staff}} you can use {{ItemIcon|Magic Wand (Elite)}} but you'll have to use {{Icon|Incinerate|type=spell}}for about 7 clears per hour.

Why Idle This?

  • Cursed Forest is mainly cleared for the Curse Masks. These have 1% dr over the previous BIS gear and apply a curse when the enemy spawns.
  • Voodoo Trinket is obtained during this dungeon and is required for a smooth Throne of the Herald fight.
  • Once cleared 100 times, the Despair Curse is unlocked and will be used against enemies with high health, as it does percentage based damage.

Dungeon Mechanics

  • This dungeon's gimmick is that all enemies are immune to curses and attack styles other than magic. As such, you will need to use the Magic to clear this dungeon
  • Cursed Forests's final enemy, Lady Darkheart has a passive effect which gives them +500% curse lifesteal. Additionally, they have 3 attacks which will apply curses to you, and another attack which deals double damage if you are cursed. The lifesteal by iteself already makes this boss incredibly annoying, and the double damage requires you to balance survivability and damage output.

There are several options for this boss in this Guide. All the portions will have their Skill requirements and estimated clears per hour listed. Please choose the option from the Table of Contents that best suits you, or make your own!

A Manual Eating clear with God Gear and without the AoD.png Atlas of Discovery Expansion is technically possible, but a clear would take around 2 hours so isn't included.

There is an expected death rate of 0.0015 deaths per hour. This is negligible but still present. If you wish to negate this completely, make sure you have Agility Waterfall Crossing at max .

Manual Eat (God Gear) Low Level Method

  • Estimated clears per hour: 8 or 17

You'll get around 8 clears per hour with the provided setup. Switching to Water Pulse Staff and putting Shield of Magic Power in the passive slot will increase this to around 17 clears per hour. This is aimed at a first clear right out of killing Impending Darkness Event.

If you don't have Ocean Song or Water Pulse Staff you can use Magic Wand (Elite) but you'll have to use Incinerate for about 6 clears per hour.
