Why Idle This?
- Error creating thumbnail: File missingLair of the Spider Queen is mainly cleared for the
Royal Toxins Spear as it provides very generous damage boosts, and also provides an additional damage boost for when the enemy is poisoned. - The only other drop you can get from the dungeon is
Spider Queen Eggs used for making the 
Spider Summoning Tablets. - The pet from the dungeon,
Webbie also reduces your attack speed by 0.1s, which is incredibly useful in many ways.
Dungeon Mechanics
Like most dungeons,

Lair of the Spider Queen has many weaker enemies before sending the strongest enemy at you, which in this case is 
Spider Queen. Normally, you would pick a specific combat style to fight the enemies to get the full advantage of the combat triangle, but in this dungeon, you can't. The Spider Queen has a unique mechanic where they will have a random combat triangle each time. Similarly, the 19 weaker enemies before it are randomised in a way which again, makes the combat styles random. This part isn't very important since the heavy hitter in the dungeon is the last enemy. Since the random combat style gimmick is the only reason this dungeon is difficult to many, it is actually rather simple to manually clear.

Idle Gear
- Note that if you are consistently running gear on the right hand side of the table, you may need to check your setup with the Combat Sim mod. You may also need to squeeze in more dr through the use of Error creating thumbnail: File missingYak synergies and usingError creating thumbnail: File missingStone Skin instead ofError creating thumbnail: File missingBattleborn.
Corundum Crossbow performs better than Error creating thumbnail: File missingShockwave. If you are unable to obtain the
Divine Crossbow, use the highest level crossbow you can obtain.- Use Damage Reduction Potion IV for 10% extra DR.
- If you are unable to obtain
Meteorite Bolts, use the highest level bolts you can obtain. - If you are using all the gear from the first column, you will have a tiny chance of death, around 0.006 deaths/hour. For maximum safety, you can replace Error creating thumbnail: File missingAvidity withError creating thumbnail: File missingHoly Aegis for there to be no chance of death. Note that this reduces kills/hour by a considerable amount (around 1.5).
This particular build only works in standard mode. This exact setup is not completely safe in hardcore or adventure mode due to the harder Combat Triangle
- For complete safety in hardcore mode, use all the gear from the first column, but:
- Replace
Ring of Power with 
Palladium Runestone Ring. Make sure it is in your passive slot and not your ring slot. - Replace
Leviathan Shield with 
(P) Divine Shield to remove the RNG element from your DR.

- You should have at least 94% damage reduction with 1220 HP (12200 in adventure mode), with
Wasteful Ring and Palladium Runestone Ring in your passive slot (since it has -1% DR, but when in the passive slot, you do not lose 1% DR)
